StartUp & ScaleUp Zone: Where Life Science Ventures Take Off

Pitch, partner and grow – connect with investors, corporates and mentors to accelerate your journey. This session spotlights bold ventures transforming MedTech, digital health and clinical innovation — from remote implant charging and smart rehabilitation to medical simulation and AI-driven diagnostics. Discover real success stories, lessons from pilots, and insights into what it takes to turn breakthrough ideas into thriving businesses.

Where are the successes of Polish MedTech? – Why aren’t there many of them, but also why do we talk (too) little about true success stories?

Questions that Matter: What Should We Really Ask?

Inspired by Einstein’s reflection on the power of asking the right question, this session invites us to pause and think before we innovate. As the closing part of LSOS 2025, it opens to the wider public — welcoming everyone beyond the conference community to join the dialogue. Leaders from science, business and policy will share the questions that matter most to them — the ones shaping the future of healthcare, technology and society. Through open discussion, we’ll explore why these questions are worth asking and how they can guide us toward meaningful, responsible progress.

14:45 - 15:20

Organised by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Kraków City Office in cooperation with the Kraków Academic and Scientific Centre and InPost, this competition connects academic creativity with the needs of business and local government. Student teams developed projects advancing sustainable development, SMART CITY, environmental protection, and urban quality of life. Join us as we honour the most innovative ideas and celebrate young talents shaping a smarter, greener Kraków!
